They used their Georgian Townhouse in Dublin City Centre for weekend visit for shopping, entertaining and sometime business meetings. This how is now Fitzwilliam Townhouse Guest House and Bed and Breakfast which offers hotel style accommodation.
You can experience original features, original Georgian windows with views over Georgian Dublin from the top floor. We have retained as many of the original features including coving and staircase. Our sister property Baggot Court Townhouse Hotel also a Georgian Townhouse was once the home of the Lord Mayor of Dublin. It was a family home and a more modest home than the house’s on Fitzwilliam Street. Baggot Street where the Baggot Court Hotel is located was a main business thoroughfare into Dublin City Centre from the South of the country.
Because both Townhouses are in the heart of Dublin City. You will be walking distance from St. Stephen’s Green and Trinity College and Temple Bar and because of our central location you will also be walking distance from the Aviva Stadium on Lansdowne Road, the Grand Canal Theatre in Grand Canal Dock and the RDS in Ballsbridge.
